WWE SmackDown Results: Seth Rollins attacks multiple stars; John Cena blamed for popular star's release from WWE (6/6/25)

The WWE SmackDown before Money in the Bank kicked off with Seth Rollins in the ring flanked by Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman. Rollins said that everyone who stood in their way, from Sami Zayn, CM Punk, to Roman Reigns, had all been taken care of.

Seth added that no one could stop them now before Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and JC Mateo showed up to interrupt him.

Solo mocked Rollins and said that they were there to stop him, something Seth believes couldn't be done. Solo compared Seth's new crew to the Bloodline and called Bron the equivalent of Jey Uso and Bronson the same as 'Sami Uso.' Sikoa said that he was going to win Money in the Bank.

Rollins fired back, saying that Solo was threatened by Reed and Breakker before adding that Jacob was ready to stab Solo in the back. The two groups squared up for a fight and stared each other down before Rollins called his boys off and stepped out of the ring, heading backstage.

As Rollins and his gang were leaving, Jimmy Uso attacked Solo and his boys from the back, tossing them outside the ring before we headed for a break.

WWE SmackDown Results: Jimmy Uso vs. JC Mateo

JC was in control early on, and Solo was at the ringside, yelling to Jimmy that he could still join them. Jimmy sent JC outside and hit a big dive before he was tossed into the barricades. Back in the ring, JC got a chinlock in, but Jimmy broke out of it.

Jimmy took a standing moonsault before JC continued the beatdown in the ring. Uso came back with some big moves before Jacob got on the apron to distract him. JC was about to hit Uso, but he ducked, and Mateo hit Jacob off the apron instead. Jimmy used the distraction to roll Mateo up for the win.

Result: Jimmy Uso def. JC Mateo

JC tried to apologize to Jacob after the match, but the latter was irate and walked off.

Grade: B

Backstage on SmackDown, Jacob ran into Damian Priest, who told him that he would be coming for the United States Championship sooner or later.

WWE SmackDown Results: Zelina Vega vs. Piper Niven

Vega was sent outside early on and came back with a kendo stick and unloaded on Piper. The match headed outside, and Piper dropped Vega on the apron before hitting her with a crossbody into the LED screens. Piper brought a chair out before tossing her into it in the corner.

Piper missed the cannonball into the steel chair before Alba interfered and took Vega out. Niven hit a massive powerslam on the floor before setting up a table in the ring. Giulia came out and took Green and Fyre out with a kendo stick before assisting Vega in putting Niven through the table for the win.

Result: Zelina Vega def. Piper Niven

Giulia raised Vega's hand after the match before hitting her with a big suplex and holding up the Women's United States Title herself.

Grade: B+

Aleister Black was in a video promo hyping up his match with LA Knight as SmackDown continued.

LA Knight came out next and talked about the Money in the Bank participants before saying that he was looking forward to winning the MITB contract.

WWE SmackDown Results: LA Knight vs. Aleister Black

Black grounded Knight early in the match and tried for a submission hold before Knight came back with big boots and a lariat. Black got the leg sweep and a sliding knee strike before both men headed outside off a springboard counter.

The match headed back to the ring, and Seth Rollins showed up, attacking LA Knight with a stomp before Breakker hit a spear on Aleister Black. Reed got a senton on Knight, and Breakker hit him with a spear as well before Rollins and the gang walked off.

Result: D.N.F

Grade: B+

The King and Queen of the Ring Tournaments were announced, and Jade Cargill was announced as the first participant.

Charlotte showed up and said that there was only one queen in the WWE before SmackDown moved on.

Tiffany Stratton was out next and was interrupted by Rhea Ripley, who said that she was looking forward to winning the Money in the Bank match and taking the WWE Women's Championship from Stratton.

Stephanie Vaquer was out next, followed by Alexa Bliss, before we headed for the next match.

WWE SmackDown Results: Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley & Stephanie Vaquer vs. Giulia, Naomi & Roxanne Perez

Vaquer and Giulia traded quick pins early on before Naomi was tagged in, and a brawl broke out before Stephanie could deliver Devil's Kiss. Vaquer, Bliss, and Ripley were in control, and Stephanie hit Devil's Kiss before being isolated by the opponent team.

Bliss took Giulia and Naomi out with a big dive to the floor before Roxanne sent her into the steel steps. Ripley came in and cleared the ring before wiping Roxanne out with the Razor's Edge.

Naomi broke up the pin before Alexa hit Sister Abigail on Giulia. Perez countered the Riptide, but Ripley got the move on the second try before getting the win.

Grade: B+

Solo Sikoa was backstage with JC Mateo and told him that he would take care of Jacob and that Fatu wasn't too bright. As Solo and Mateo left, Jacob stepped out of the doorway just inches away and most likely heard everything.

Bo Dallas was in a short video on SmackDown representing the Wyatts and expressed interest in challenging for the tag team titles. The other tag teams were backstage, and the Street Profits stated that they were not afraid of the Wyatts. However, both Fraxiom and the Motor City Machine Guns expressed interest in facing the Wyatts as well.

WWE SmackDown Results: Penta & Andrade vs. The Creed Brothers

The Creeds took control early on and isolated Andrade for a beatdown. Tags were made, and Penta got a big backstabber before tossing Brutus outside the ring.

Chad Gable interfered and tried to rip Penta's mask off, but Vikingo jumped the barricades and attacked Gable, sending him over the barricades. In the ring, Penta got the Mexican Destroyer and picked up the win.

Result: Penta & Andrade def. The Creed Brothers

Grade: B

Seth Rollins showed up with his goons and attacked Penta and Andrade before hitting them both with stomps and a big Tsunami on Penta on SmackDown.

Paul Heyman got on the mic and said that Seth Rollins would become Mr. Money in the Bank again. They were interrupted by Cody Rhodes, followed by Jey Uso. Rollins whispered something to Cody and walked off with his group before Jey and Cody took over the ring.

Cody got on the mic and talked about thier match at Money in the Bank against John Cena and Logan Paul. Cody made fun of Cena for appearing in a Kai Cenat livestream and sacrificing his reputation to win the WWE Championship before the champ made his entrance.

While Cena was being introduced by the ring announcer, Logan attacked Cody and Jey from behind with brass knuckles. Jey took an Attitude Adjustment while Cody was hit with the Paulveriser before Logan and Cena stood in the ring with both the WWE and Heavyweight Titles on SmackDown.

Cena said that no one is going to save the WWE Universe, and while he runs off with the WWE title, Paul will take the Heavyweight title to the top. He called Logan a future Heavyweight champ before dragging Cody back in the ring for an Attitude Adjustment.

Paul sent Jey back in the ring and hit a right hook before Cena yelled that the fans couldn't handle the truth. The crowd yelled, "We want Truth," possibly for the recently released R-Truth. The fans possibly blame Cena for Truth being let go.

Cena called them losers and said that "winners write the history books." The two held the titles up as WWE SmackDown went off the air.
