RAW Superstar Bayley has been away from WWE programming for nearly two months. A recent report has shed light on the timeline for her highly anticipated return.
According to a recent report from Bodyslam.net, The Role Model is expected to show up tonight on Monday Night RAW. She is likely to confront the star who took her out before WrestleMania 41, WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch. However, the Stamford-based company has not announced her for the show yet.
The 35-year-old was scheduled to team up with Lyra Valkyria to challenge Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at The Show of Shows. However, she was attacked backstage by Becky Lynch, who ended up replacing her as Valkyria's tag team partner on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
During a recent episode of Writing with Russo, wrestling veteran Vince Russo shared his honest opinion about Bayley.
The former WWE head writer claimed that The Role Model's on-screen character had turned stale and needed a lot of work. However, he further blamed the Stamford-based promotion for failing to revitalize her character.
"I am sure Pamela Rose Martinez [Bayley] is a sweetheart of a woman. I don't have any doubts about that whatsoever. I really don't. Her character's stale. As stale as you can get. There is no meat on the bone. There is nothing there. You have to do something. I mean, something needs to be done to totally bro, to revitalize the character. And it seems, it seems every time they wanna do that, it's either turn her a babyface or turn her a heel. It's like they never wanna put the work or the investment in," Russo said.
