Kofi Kingston is doing some of the best work of his career alongside Xavier Woods lately. He recently took action against a WWE employee.
During the go-home edition of RAW before Money in the Bank, the New Day faced humiliation when they were on commentary during the tag team match between the War Raiders (Ivar and Erik) and the Judgment Day (Finn Balor and JD McDonagh).
Kingston and Woods tried to cause an interference, but the referee, Jessika Carr, caught them and sent them packing. The crowd erupted with "New Day sucks" chants as the heels were forced to exit the arena.
Following the show, Kofi Kingston took to his X/Twitter handle to announce that he has filed an official complaint against Jessika Carr for abusing her power.
"Let the record show: I have just filed an official complaint about the heinous and overreaching actions of @WWELadyRefJess tonight. #WWERAW."

It looks like he is keeping kayfabe alive outside the ring. His tweet was clearly a tongue-in-cheek comment to get heat from the fans.
While speaking on X-Pod 97, Big E opened up about facing the after-effects of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods booting him from the group.
He said The New Day enabled fans to troll him for his outside ventures amid his uncertain in-ring future.
"It’s funny because before that segment, it was positivity and, 'I’m happy for you. I hope you get better.' Now, I have so many pro-Kofi and Woods trolls every time I post about Spider-Man or the Fiesta Bowl. 'Kofi and Woods were right. You be everywhere but the ring.' I broke my neck, that’s why. They opened the door for all these idiots coming in and talking about everything I’m doing outside of the ring," he said.
Big E's future is hanging in the balance despite avoiding neck surgery. He hasn't been medically cleared to return to in-ring action.
Will he be able to lace up his wrestling boots again? Only time will tell.
