WWE CCO Triple H has steered clear of any physicality in the ring since having a brush with death. However, a wrestling veteran has pitched a wild scenario for The Game's in-ring return.
The Cerebral Assassin brought the curtain down on his iconic career over three years ago when he put his wrestling boots in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania 38.
He has since shifted his focus to the creative side of things, taking over from Vince McMahon.
Yesterday, former WWE head writer Vince Russo took to his X/Twitter handle and posted a picture of Triple H, saying John Cena's last-ever match would be against The Game.
"I'm telling you this RIGHT NOW. Matter of fact MARK down the date. @JohnCena's LAST MATCH will be against THIS GUY," he wrote.

As interesting as it sounds on paper, let's be real, there's no way Triple H would risk his health at this stage of his career.
He has a defibrillator in his chest and has been advised by doctors not to wrestle again.
If anything, Vince Russo's tweet could be a subtle jibe at The Game amid outrage over his recent decisions.
While speaking to his wife on Stephanie’s Places, Triple H shared how he reacted when he realized his in-ring career was over.
"I remember when they had the conversation with me when they said we’re gonna put a defibrillator in, and the reasons why, so that means you would never wrestle again, like you can’t, you have to not do physicality. That didn’t even faze me. I was still alive, still had you, still had the kids, that’s what mattered. The rest of it was just stuff."
After an eventful Money in the Bank, fans are now looking forward to seeing what Triple H has in store for the WWE Universe at Night of Champions.
