LA Knight moving brands to set up major Night of Champions feud - Reports
LA Knight is reportedly scheduled for a major rivalry ahead of WWE Night of Champions 2025. The PLE will take place on June 28 and will feature the finals of the King and Queen of the Ring Tournaments.
According to Cory Hays of BodySlam, Knight will be feuding with WWE RAW star Seth Rollins ahead of Night of Champions. Knight is a member of the SmackDown roster and was in action in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the PLE this past Saturday. Seth Rollins emerged victorious in the six-man bout after Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker interfered.
Seth Rollins has now won the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match twice in his career. The Visionary also defeated CM Punk and Roman Reigns in the main event of Night One of WrestleMania 41 after aligning with Paul Heyman.
Former WWE writer shares interesting rumor about LA Knight
Wrestling legend and former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently shared an interesting rumor about LA Knight and Triple H.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, the veteran claimed that he had heard a rumor that Triple H was not a fan of The Megastar and that it was negatively impacting the 42-year-old's push in WWE:
"I was told that Triple H does not like LA Knight. And you are seeing that, bro. LA Knight goes so far, then we pull him back. Knight goes so far, then we pull him back. And again, bro, that's the competition between the boys... It just boggles my mind because, bro, when you go back and you watch Vince McMahon, Vince never put himself front and center." Knight defeated Logan Paul at WWE SummerSlam last year to win the United States Championship. He then briefly lost the title to Shinsuke Nakamura, but won it back and held it until WrestleMania 41 before dropping it to Jacob Fatu.
Knight and Rollins had an exciting battle just before The Visionary finally captured the MITB briefcase on Saturday. Should the feud come to fruition, it will be fascinating to see what the company has planned between the pair in the weeks ahead.
