WWE fans attempted to hijack Worlds Collide during the event today to push for R-Truth's return to the company. The event features stars from both World Wrestling Entertainment and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and is airing live from the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California.

Truth recently announced that he was being let go by the Stamford-based promotion. It later came to light that his contract was expiring and would not be renewed. The veteran spent the past 17 years in the company and developed a strong connection with wrestling fans.

The former multi-time champion lost to John Cena last month at Saturday Night's Main Event, and his final bout in the company was a loss to JC Mateo on the May 30 edition of WWE SmackDown. Wrestling fans have voiced their displeasure with Truth's time in the promotion coming to an end and continued to do so during Worlds Collide today.

As pointed out by Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, fans hijacked the YouTube chat during WWE's live stream of Worlds Collide and made it known that they wanted to see R-Truth return to the company. You can check out some of the comments in the post below.

The 53-year-old made a lot of fans during his time in the promotion. It will be fascinating to see what the future holds for R-Truth in the world of professional wrestling.
