Vince McMahon may be involved in buying WWE back; Triple H to leave, according to ex-employee (Exclusive)

WWE's takeover news sent shockwaves around the pro-wrestling world back in 2023. It was unimaginable to think that the McMahon family wouldn't remain owners of the very company that they had started way back in the 1950s.

It was founded in 1953 by Vincent James McMahon before being bought by his son, Vince McMahon Jr. The now 79-year-old remained in charge of the company till 2022 before leaving, creating duties, and stepping away from the company entirely following the formation of the TKO group.

Reports now claim that Vince McMahon is looking to buy the company back. Speaking on the latest episode of BroDown on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, wrestling veteran Vince Russo claimed that Mr. McMahon may be involved in buying the company once again.

''I believe Ari was in on the deal, and I believe at the end of the day Ari is going to make much more money than he did when he bought the company. So I believe Ari was in on this, Endeavor was in on this. I believe this has been a plan from all along, and that's why he didn't sell it directly to them, because now Ari is set up to make billions and billions of dollars," Russo said. He also joked when he was asked if Triple H would still have a job if Vince McMahon were to buy WWE again.

While no confirmation has been given regarding Vince's proposed WWE takeover, reports are growing that it may happen. Vince's formation of his new company, 14TH & I, has also added fuel to the fire.
