WWE Superstar John Cena is set to retire from in-ring competition by the end of December 2025. Ahead of the upcoming Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, a former world champion broke character and shared his thoughts on The Franchise Player's final run.

Fans witnessed a major rivalry between Cena and The Miz back in the early 2010s. Their feud culminated at WrestleMania 27, where The A-Lister defeated his opponent to retain the WWE Championship.

In a recent Fox News Digital interview, The Miz stated that it would be incredible to lock horns with The Cenation Leader for one last time before the latter retires.

"That would be incredible. I think everyone wants to put their name in the hat to have one final match with John Cena. And I do believe that this is his farewell tour," he said. (H/T: Fox News Digital)

The Awesome One broke his character and referred to John Cena as the "GOAT." He encouraged WWE fans to savor these moments and observe the Last Real Champion's actions, recognizing his unparalleled status in the wrestling business.

"I think other things he might be able to do, but wrestling in a ring, I think this is the last year we’re gonna see him. So, I think we should cherish it. We should watch it and enjoy what he’s doing. Whether you don’t like what he is doing or you do like what he’s doing, just sit back and watch because he truly is the GOAT," he added.
