WWE Superstar Seth Rollins knows how to blur the lines between kayfabe and reality, especially when it comes to a certain someone in his life.

He recently ruled out a potential reunion with a former World Heavyweight Champion and explained what would happen if he did so. In an interview with the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams, The Visionary was asked if he would keep his differences aside and team up with CM Punk if it meant the Chicago Bears winning the Super Bowl.

Despite his love for the Chicago Bears, Rollins ruled out the idea of joining forces with Punk in any scenario.

“Would I do it? It makes my stomach turn just to think about it. For one Super Bowl? I don’t think I could do it. I don’t think I could stand next to him. I really don’t think I can do it. I don’t think I could do it. I would suffer in misery every season. Give me an NFC Title game. I don’t think I could do it. I would have to say no.”

Seth Rollins went on to say that his wife would disown him if he were to team up with CM Punk. He revealed that his wife, Becky Lynch, hates The Straight Edge Superstar more than him.

“It hurts me inside too much. It’s selfish saying it, but it’s not even about me. I feel bad for the people. The players on the team. Me and CM Punk have to team. ‘Yay, CM Punk.’ No. I can’t do it. I couldn’t do it. I would vomit. It would go against every fiber of my being. I couldn’t do it. I would have to go home and look my daughter in the face and tell her that I was a coward. I couldn’t do that to my daughter, my family. My wife would disown me. I don’t know if I would ever sleep in the bed again. I’d get kicked to the curb. If there is one person that hates CM Punk more than me it might be Becky Lynch. It’s a full family affair.” (H/T: Fightful)

The hatred towards CM Punk runs in Seth Rollins' family. The only time the two men worked together was almost 13 years ago during an episode of WWE NXT.

Seth Rollins emerged victorious at WWE Money in the Bank 2025

Seth Rollins had a memorable outing last night, as he won the six-man ladder match to become a two-time Mr. Money in the Bank.

However, he wouldn't have been able to do it if it weren't for Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed laying waste to every other participant in the match.

The Visionary has now moved one step closer to winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Will he cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Jey Uso during the latter's upcoming title defense against Gunther on WWE RAW? Only time will tell.
