A WWE legend recently unveiled an interesting fact about his potential return to the ring after more than 13 years of retirement. The legend in question, Mick Foley, also talked about who he was planning to face if he did return.

Mick Foley requires no introduction to the pro-wrestling fanbase. Considered to be one of the most daring performers in WWE history, Foley has had several standout moments in the industry. His iconic match with The Undertaker is still talked about today. The veteran last wrestled in the Royal Rumble Match in 2012 and has not stepped back in the ring to compete since.

The WWE legend recently talked about rumors surrounding his return, claiming that he and MJF had a secret meeting. Foley said:

"I was giving some serious thought to having one more match for my 60th birthday, one final match. And I got all kinds of great inquiries from people all across the wrestling spectrum. From the deathmatch wrestlers to WWE wrestlers, and in AEW, MJF really had a great idea. Like he was really sinking his teeth into some ideas. We met, top secret meeting, no photos even available to prove there was a meeting. You have to take my word for it. We met, he has got some great idea, he really did. If I could have pulled it off, I think I may have gone in that direction." [0:13 onwards]

The WWE legend previously talked about the characters he played

According to Mick Foley, Dude Love was the easiest character he had played in his career.

Speaking in an interview with Denise Salcedo, Foley also talked about the difficulties he faced in playing the role of Mankind. He said:

"Well, Dude Love was the easiest because it's just me being a little nerdier than I am in real life. Mankind was the toughest because it was a really dark character. In 1996, it was really dark, and it was tough for me to go to a dark place. I mean, literally, I would go to the boiler room to try to get into the character of Mankind." [H/T - Fightful]
