WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live Event concluded with chaos as Cody Rhodes pinned Undisputed Champion John Cena in his return match. Before being pinned, Cena seemed to be gaining momentum, appearing ready to secure a victory.
However, before he could impose more damage on the already battered American Nightmare, a hooded figure rushed through the crowd, tackled the Last Real Champion, and unleashed a flurry of hard punches on him.
The hooded man revealed himself to be R-Truth, who was released earlier and sparked a massive riot among pro wrestling fans. Ron Killings’ return has created monumental buzz in the WWE Universe and raised multiple questions.
However, R-Truth will have to face serious consequences for costing John Cena and Logan Paul at Money in the Bank 2025:
The Last Real is officially set to return at the next aftermath edition of Monday Night RAW. Cena could call out R-Truth and lure him into the squared circle, while Logan Paul might enter the ring from behind, and the two could launch a brutal attack on the 53-year-old star.
Cena and Paul could attack Ron Killings until he is covered in blood, prompting Adam Pearce and officials to intervene to stop him from being brutalized and take him out in an ambulance.
The Final Boss has been absent from WWE since the 2025 Elimination Chamber, where John Cena officially turned heel and attacked Cody Rhodes.
In an interview with Pat McAfee, The Final Boss expressed that he doesn’t want to steal Cena’s spotlight and wants to see him compete in his retirement tour. However, Truth has stolen The Last Real Champion’s spotlight and cost him his match against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.
This might trigger The Rock’s anger, and he could return to WWE to punish R-Truth himself for putting his hands on his champion, setting him up for SummerSlam 2025.
John Cena is The Rock’s champion, having officially sold his soul to him at the Elimination Chamber 2025. The Final Boss enjoys major authority in the Stamford-based promotion as he is a member of the board of directors of TKO Group Holdings.
The Last Real Champion could make a call to The Final Boss and have R-Truth banned from the Stamford-based promotion, forever blacklisting him. Meanwhile, Ron Killings would try to get into Cena’s head by making such appearances and could emerge with a new serious character.
