Tires season 2 premiered on Netflix on June 5, 2025. Created by Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, and John McKeever, the comedy drama series follows the story of Will, who manages his family's auto-repair shop while being consistently harassed by his cousin and employee, Shane.
Tires stars Gerben as Will and Gillis as Shane. Chris O'Connor, Kilah Fox, Stavros Halkias, and Thomas Haden Church appear as Cal, Kilah, Dave, and Phil, respectively. While the first season had six episodes, the second one has 12.
Bobby Telatovich and Michael J. Gleason joined the show as writers for season 2, which features over a dozen songs that complement its storytelling. Archawah's Familiar is the intro theme for both seasons.
Alex Weinstein composed Tires' subtle underscore to complement its comedic tone without dominating it. He has also composed music for documentaries like Turbine and Behind the Card, as well as the opening credits of Undecided.
The soundtrack for season 2 is a vibrant and eclectic mix of songs that supports both the comedic and heartfelt beats. Here is a list of the songs featured on the soundtrack for this season:

Season 2 sees two new employees, Dix and Frankie, hired to work at the Valley Forge Automotive Center. Shane's estranged father, Phil (Thomas Haden Church), is also introduced in this season.
Will continues to struggle to keep the shop operating as he works overtime. He slowly begins to realize the toll of running a business amidst his determination to grow personally and professionally.
Shane, who is responsible for training Dix and Frankie, is immature and disruptive as ever. Surprisingly, he comes through for Will when help is needed. The emotional tension between Shane and his father, Phil, is also explored.
Phil, a wealthy businessman, purchases the repair shop from Will’s father, Jon, after Jon refuses to loan Will money for its expansion. Stepping in to save the struggling business, Phil partners with Will and Shane to keep the shop afloat, while also trying to repair his strained relationship with Shane.
Shane manages to solve the shop's financial problems temporarily with a discount offer he comes up with for vendors who regularly bring them business. However, that does not seem to be the long-term solution to save the shop.
