On June 13, 2025, Sean "Diddy" Combs' ex-assistant, Jonathan Perez, who worked for him from 2021 until 2024, took the witness stand in the rapper's sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy trial.

During his trial, Jonathan Perez alleged that Diddy's former chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, was his supervisor and had introduced him to "king nights." According to Perez, these events were about Combs "going to a hotel to have private time with a female." Perez added that one of the government's key witnesses, and the rapper's ex-girlfriend, who testified under the pseudonym Jane in the trial, would accompany the rapper to these infamous events during his time working for the rapper, as reported by CNN's live coverage.

"[Jane was a] female friend, companion, I’m not sure exactly," Perez testified.

Furthermore, Jonathan spoke about setting up the hotels for "king nights," claiming that working during the day allowed him to set up around five of these events.

"It was a lot of packing materials, making sure that he was going to have everything he would need for 12 to 24 hours without having to bother anybody," Perez testified.

He told the court that he arranged music, red lights, condoms, lubricant, food, liquor, and sometimes "Vital Honey" for "enhancing a man’s libido."

Jonathan Perez further testified that Diddy's staff would clean up the hotel rooms after the "king nights", claiming that the rooms would be "just bit of a mess and in disarray. Just like lots of sheets and towels, and oils." He added that Comb's staff members would arrange a meal, massage, and IV drip for him after the infamous event.

Perez told the court that the 55-year-old rapper would carry a Gucci pouch with him, which contained cash and drugs like ketamine, Molly, and adderall. He added that he was asked by Combs or a co-worker "a handful of times" to acquire drugs, including Xanax, cocaine, and Molly, and that he would obtain drugs from "Baby Girl" and "Guido," and paid them with cash from Combs' Gucci Bag, as reported by The Washington Post.

He further recalled another event when Combs' videographer found a video of Jane (the rapper's ex-girlfriend) being intimate with another man on his iPad, which was generally used by the rapper's staff. Perez eventually told Combs and her former chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, about the video, which was discovered in Combs' Los Angeles home.

The jurors heard recordings between Perez and Kristina, where the latter stated that she had learned about the matter from "someone outside the company, in some capacity." Further in the recordings, Khorram asked Perez to explain step by step what happened when the explicit video was discovered.

"Hey, I found something on the iPad that the staff uses. I can lock it up for you. I can, you can delete it. I just wanted you to make the decision," Perez asked Diddy.

Perez added,

"KK (Khorram) mentioned that Combs wanted an investigation to happen regarding the video and how it got on that device."

However, Perez didn't know if an investigation occurred.

Jonathan Perez, who worked for Diddy from December 2021 to September 2024, claimed that he earned $100,000 annually during his time with the rapper.
