WWE star to win Money in the Bank & turn heel after 711 days to finally win world title? Potential explored

This Saturday in Los Angeles, LA Knight will head into his third Money in the Bank Ladder Match, once again as the sentimental favourite. Knight's rise in WWE over the past two and a half years has been nothing short of surreal, although it has been marred by inconsistent booking and some baffling losses and feuds.

It is clear that with the influx of new talent, Knight is not as high on Triple H's list as he once was. But as Hunter likes to say, HERE'S THE THING: LA Knight was never supposed to be on the top of anyone's priority list. All he was given was a chance to be himself on TV, and LA Knight knocked the ball out of the park the first time he had the opportunity and every single time since (YEAH!).

The Megastar has long deserved to be handed the keys to the kingdom, and in this case, the keys come in the form of a briefcase within which resides the Money in the Bank contract. Given that this could potentially be the last real opportunity to pull the trigger on Knight, Triple H might finally push The Megastar, with the first step this coming Saturday and the rest to follow.

If Knight wins the Money in the Bank contract, he could immediately cash in on WWE Champion John Cena, which is very unlikely given the current circumstances. Or, he could potentially target the World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso. While both Uso and Cena will be in action in the main event of the Money in the Bank PLE, along with Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul, the number of moving parts would not make for an ideal cash-in scenario.

However, two nights later, Uso is set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther. This could be the fateful night Knight fulfills his destiny and finally becomes a World Champion. During or following a hellacious battle, Knight could pick his spot and take advantage of a battered Jey Uso and cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

The are very few people in wrestling more beloved than LA Knight, and one of them is indeed Jey Uso. Knight cashing in the contract on a broken-down Uso, despite Knight's popularity, might draw a negative reaction from the crowd, given the psychology of the moment and how the potential cash-in is executed. This could allow Knight to once again tap more into his brash and egocentric side in the months to come and shake up the foundation of Monday Night RAW as a heel for the first time in over 700 days.

What could LA Knight on RAW mean for Monday nights

A move to RAW would be incredibly beneficial for LA Knight, with fresh opponents like Gunther, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Sami Zayn, and more waiting for him in the main event scene. Given the sheer star power on RAW, Triple H could experiment with LA Knight as the champion, much like he has taken a leap of faith with Jey Uso.

The return of a heel LA Knight, this time as an established megastar, could be one of the boldest moves of the Triple H era, and interacting with the aforementioned superstars as the World Heavyweight Champion would turn him into a bonafide main eventer as well as turn Monday Nights into 'LA Knight's' (YEAH!). However, for all of that to happen, Knight will first have to win the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match this Saturday at the Intuit Dome.
