According to a new report from Fightful Select, Mr. Iguana is finalizing a deal with WWE to ensure that he will continue to make future appearances for the company. The 36-year-old was said to have received backstage heat for suggesting that he would be skipping over NXT and going straight to the main roster. However, Fightful's report noted that they had not heard if he had any heat in the company following the comments.

Iguana took the wrestling world by storm during his appearance at Worlds Collide this past Saturday night in Los Angeles, California. The veteran teamed up with Octagon Jr. and Aero Star to defeat Lince Dorado and LWO's Cruz Del Toro and Dragon Lee at the event over the weekend.

The popular star was later shown in the crowd during Money in the Bank 2025 and got a great reaction from the WWE Universe. He was also shown in the crowd during this past Tuesday's episode of NXT.

Major WWE star threatens Mr. Iguana

A major WWE star recently sent a threatening message to Mr. Iguana following his surge in popularity.

Bronson Reed missed a substantial amount of time due to an injury suffered at Survivor Series 2024, but made his return last month on RAW. The former North American Champion is aligned with Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman on the red brand.

The veteran will be competing in a King of the Ring Fatal 4-Way match next Monday night on RAW against Sheamus, Rusev, and a mystery star. Reed took to social media recently to threaten the popular star and claimed that he was going to hit him with a Tsunami Splash.

"I can't wait to TSUNAMI Mr. Iguana and make y'all cry," wrote Reed.
