WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H made an appearance at Worlds Collide. The wrestling show co-produced by the Stamford-based promotion and AAA is currently underway at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

The show started with Deyra Berrera singing the Mexican national anthem, followed by Lilian Garcia singing the Star-Spangled Banner. At the time, Triple H and Shawn Michaels were in the ring, along with the President of AAA, Marisela Pena.

Surprisingly, the leadership from both promotions left the squared circle without saying anything as soon as the national anthems were over. The show then kicked off with WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio coming out to cut a promo in Mexican.

During WrestleMania 41 weekend, WWE announced that it had acquired Mexican promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. Worlds Collide was also announced at the same time.

The historic show will be headlined by a highly anticipated championship match. El Hijo del Vikingo will defend his AAA Mega Championship against WWE Superstar Chad Gable. Vikingo recently won the title by defeating Alberto El Patron on May 31.

The historic show will be followed by WWE Money in the Bank. It will be interesting to see if Triple H shows up and addresses the crowd at the PLE later tonight at the Intuit Dome.
