A top WWE Superstar wants to face John Cena one last time before he retires, as per his latest comments. Seth Rollins stated he wants another shot at breaking Cena's nose before his retirement.
In 2015, Cena and Rollins faced off on an episode of RAW. During the match, Rollins accidentally broke The Cenation Leader's nose with a knee to the face.
In a recent interview with ET Now, Seth Rollins brought up the incident from a decade ago. The Visionary then said he would like another chance at breaking John Cena's nose.
"This knee's coming for you, John. You watch out, alright?" [0:06-0:10]
In 2016, Rollins appeared on The Game Mornings. The WWE Superstar opened up about breaking Cena's nose on RAW and shared that he apologized to the veteran.
"I broke John's nose, so maybe he doesn't want to get in the ring with me. I kneed him right in the face probably about a year ago. We were going into SummerSlam last year, maybe two or three weeks out, and I just crushed his nose. He was just disfigured and dismembered and I was shocked he made it to SummerSlam as healthy as he did. I apologized profusely and John and I wrestled a million times and every once in a while, you get a clunker in there. But this one, for some reason, I just made real contact with the center of his face and rearranged him pretty badly."
Cena still has about six months left in his farewell tour. He's bound to read Rollins' comments about wanting another match with him before he retires. It remains to be seen whether the WWE Universe will witness one final match between two of the biggest names in the history of the company before Cena finally calls it quits for good.
