WWE legend Rey Mysterio made his return to the company during Worlds Collide today. The event aired live from the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California.
Rey Mysterio has been out of action for several months but made his return at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide today. The veteran was shown getting out of his car and making his way into the venue ahead of the event, and then made an appearance to kick off the show. Mysterio noted that he was excited for the world to see Lucha Libre and hyped up the event during his promo.
Mysterio is a member of the Latino World Order on RAW. The veteran was supposed to battle El Grande Americano at WrestleMania but was ruled out of the match due to a torn groin. The injury occurred during a six-man tag team match on the April 18, 2025, edition of WWE SmackDown, and Mysterio had to be helped to the back.
Rey Fenix replaced the 50-year-old in the match at The Show of Shows but was unable to defeat El Grande Americano. It will be fascinating to see when Rey Mysterio will be ready to return to action following his appearance at Worlds Collide today.
