WWE has shared a major update about Mr. Iguana's future with the Stamford-based company. The AAA star is all set to make an appearance during the promotion's upcoming events, WWE SuperShow Mexico.
Earlier today, the global juggernaut announced its return to Mexico. The two shows scheduled for July 26 and 27 in Mexico City will feature several top names from the company, including Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Gunther, Dominik Mysterio, Stephanie Vaquer, and more.
In addition to the WWE Superstars, luchadores from AAA were also announced for the shows, including Mr. Iguana. The 36-year-old was reportedly working out a deal with the global juggernaut to ensure more future appearances for the promotion.
The Mexican star instantly became a crowd favorite at WWE Worlds Collide. The former AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion received massive support from the fans during his match at the event. He had teamed up with Octagon Jr. and Aero Star to face Lince Dorado and LWO's Cruz Del Toro and Dragon Lee.
After emerging victorious in the six-man tag team match, the veteran attended the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event sitting in the crowd. He was also shown in the crowd during the latest edition of NXT. He received a warm reception from the fans in attendance on both occasions.
Bronson Reed is among the most dominant performers on the WWE roster. The former NXT North American Champion issued a warning to Mr. Iguana in a recent social media update.
Big Bronson Reed recently took to his X/Twitter account to threaten the AAA star. The 36-year-old, staying true to his heel persona, noted that he could not wait to hit the veteran with a Tsunami, making all the fans cry.
"I can't wait to TSUNAMI Mr. Iguana and make y'all cry," he wrote.
