"Does that mean Carlito is back too?!" - Ex-WWE star asks a question after R-Truth's shock return at Money In The Bank

A former WWE Superstar had an interesting question on X/Twitter following R-Truth's return at Money In The Bank last night. Baron Corbin, also known as Tom Pestock, asked if The Judgment Day's Carlito would be returning as well.

Truth's release at the Money In The Bank PLE was a legitimate shock, as he had announced his release mere seven days prior. He came out during the final moments of the main event match, pitting John Cena and Logan Paul against Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes. Truth attacked Cena and immediately left the spot, leaving the babyfaces to pick up an easy win.

Shortly after, former WWE Superstar Baron Corbin put up a post on his official X/Twitter handle, and asked the following:

"Does that mean @Litocolon279 is back too?!"

Bully Ray was skeptical about R-Truth's WWE release

WWE legend Bully Ray had a lot to say about R-Truth's release shortly before his return. He said he's praying the entire thing is a work. Check out his comments on Busted Open below:

"Are you 100% convinced that Ron Killings has been released from the WWE?" Bully asked co-host Dave LaGreca. "It's just odd. When does the WWE ever release talent on their own and not in groups or clusters? I think I'm just hoping and praying that it's not true, and that we're all getting worked really, really well. If Truth truly did get released, or they're not renewing his contract, Truth is gonna land on his feet somewhere. He's gonna go make records and songs, or he'll probably get his own TV show [because] he's so damn entertaining." (H/T WrestlingInc)

R-Truth did come back, but the entire fiasco reportedly is far from a work. As per PWInsider, WWE worked out a deal with the veteran in the past three days or so, so as to make it possible for him to return at Money In The Bank.
