Congratulations to WWE star Wade Barrett

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett has recently achieved a major milestone within the Stamford-based promotion. Barrett currently serves as a commentator on Friday Night SmackDown.

Wade Barrett is one of the most popular names in the world of professional wrestling. The star made a huge name in World Wrestling Entertainment during his time as an in-ring competitor by winning several titles and feuding with some of the biggest names on the roster, including John Cena. King Barrett retired from in-ring competition in 2016 and has been working as a commentator in WWE since 2020.

Congratulations are in order, as the SmackDown star has recently achieved a massive milestone within the Stamford-based promotion. Today, June 7, 2025, marks the 15th anniversary of Barrett's electrifying debut on the company's main roster, where he, alongside his Nexus teammates, obliterated John Cena and CM Punk.

During the Countdown to Money in the Bank show, WWE's official X/Twitter handle also acknowledged the day, wishing Wade Barrett a happy 15-year anniversary.

Many fans want Wade Barrett to return to the ring for possibly one last time at some point in the future. It remains to be seen if the SmackDown star has planned anything for his return to the squared circle.
