Carlito breaks silence following R-Truth's heel turn on WWE RAW

Carlito reacted to Ron Killings' (fka R-Truth) passionate promo last night on WWE RAW. Killings was informed that the company would not be renewing his contract, but returned this past Saturday night at WWE Money in the Bank after fan backlash.

The promotion did not renew Carlito's contract, and the veteran is no longer with the company. The former United States Champion was a member of The Judgment Day on RAW before he departed from the company.

He took to his Instagram story to share his reaction to Killings' promo last night on the red brand. Carlito shared clapping emojis, and you can check out his message in the image below.

Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul battled Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes in a tag team match in the main event of Money in the Bank over the weekend. Killings returned during the match and hit Cena on the head with the title belt. The American Nightmare capitalized on the interference and hit Cena with the Cross Rhodes for the pinfall victory.

Vince Russo claims WWE missed an opportunity with Ron Killings on RAW

Wrestling legend Vince Russo believes that the promotion missed an opportunity with Ron Killings' promo last night on RAW.

Ron Killings delivered a promo last night on the red brand while on top of the announce table. He noted that wrestling fans had a voice, and he was still in the promotion because of them. The 53-year-old then cut off his hair before demanding that people show him respect, seemingly turning heel.

Speaking on this week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo suggested that the veteran may have been wearing hair extensions. He also claimed that the segment left a lot of "meat on the bone" and was a missed opportunity.

"I just kept thinking, like, ‘Bro, those are probably extensions.’ That’s all I could think about. Like, ‘Okay, bro, he’s cutting hair extensions.’ But again, there was so much meat on the bone, and they missed it. They’ve absolutely missed it." [From 44:35 onwards]
