Asuka's former tag team partner, Charlotte Flair, reacted to her return to WWE on this week's Monday Night RAW. Flair and Asuka once held the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship together.
The last time The Empress of Tomorrow was seen in action was at Backlash France 2024. She teamed up with Kairi Sane in a losing effort against Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, who became the new Women's Tag Team Champions.
On X, Flair sent a heartfelt message to Asuka, reacting to her return on WWE RAW tonight, while also tuning in for her Fatal Four-Way Match on the red brand.
"Empress. the one and only. Welcome back woman," wrote Flair.

Asuka defeated Stephanie Vaquer, Ivy Nile and Raquel Rodriguez in the first round of the Queen of the Ring Tournament. She received a helping hand from Rhea Ripley, who attacked Rodriguez and hit her with the Riptide, allowing the former multi-time Women's Champion to pin the Judgment Day member and secure her spot in the semi-final.
Asuka will face Alexa Bliss in the semi-final of the Queen of the Ring Tournament. They will cross paths on the upcoming episode of SmackDown. Interestingly enough, Asuka and Bliss also held the Women's Tag Team Championships together.
