CM Punk to re-form The Straight Edge Society with two WWE stars to take down seth Rollins? Exploring the possibility

CM Punk confronted John Cena on the WWE RAW after Money in the Bank 2025. This led to him receiving a title shot for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Night of Champions, where Cena and Punk will lock horns one more time.

Besides, the Franchise Player, the Best in the World, is also engaged in a feud with Seth Rollins. The Voice of the Voiceless has interrupted Seth on various instances and attacked him whenever he got a chance.

However, Rollins currently has Bronson Reed, Paul Heyman, and Bron Breakker on his side. It means that Punk needs someone on his side to even the odds and to tackle the villainous faction.

This raises the chances of CM Punk re-forming The Straight Edge Society with Oba Femi and his friend Ricky Saints on the red brand show. For those who might not know, the Straight Edge Society was a faction formed back in 2009. This group incorporated CM Punk, Serena, Luke Gallows, and Joe Mercury.

As of now, Oba Femi is part of the NXT brand and is the current NXT Champion. The way WWE is pushing the Nigerian star, it's highly likely that when he drops the title, he will move to the main roster. Additionally, in an interview last year, Punk discussed the potential resurgence of the Straight Edge Society and named Oba Femi as the first choice.

On the other side, Ricky Saints is also part of the NXT brand. A few weeks back, he suffered the loss of the NXT North American Title to Ethan Page. Since then, rumors have circulated about Ricky joining the main roster soon.

Further, as Saints and Punk are friends due to their AEW bond, it's conceivable that the company may bring both of them together on RAW. All this development could lead to the Best in the World re-forming The Straight Edge Society with Oba Femi and Ricky Saints to take down Seth Rollins' faction.

Although the scenario is based on speculation, it could be a great way to have both NXT stars join the main roster.

CM Punk might shock the world at WWE Night of Champions 2025

WWE Night of Champions 2025 will give CM Punk the chance to become a world champion again. Although fans predict that John Cena will retain the gold, considering his retirement run as a 17-time world champion, wrestling veteran Bill Apter believes that the company may have a surprise planned for the fans.

Apter believes that there is a small chance the title can change hands in Saudi Arabia, only to set up a rematch between them after WWE NOC. He stated:

"I don't think the title's going to change. I think there will be, and I hate to say it, either a ref bump or some interference from somewhere. I don't see them putting the belt on Punk. But this is a very compelling match because the WWE Universe needs to believe that the title can change hands. And I'm not always a hundred percent right. So they could do that in Saudi Arabia and bring it back on another PLE for a rematch.''

Only time will tell what will happen at Night of Champions 2025, and whether CM Punk can end John Cena's run as a 17-time world champion in WWE.
