4 WWE stars Triple H buried at Money in the Bank

As with the chosen winners of Royal Rumble, whoever Triple H picks to win Money in the Bank will be polarizing. Naomi completely deserved to win this year's briefcase. She has transformed her character and worked hard to make a change.

Some fans loved Charlotte Flair and Jey Uso winning their respective Rumbles. A large portion, however, was tired of seeing Flair win yet another huge title opportunity.

Seth Rollins captured the men's case, while Dominik Mysterio defeated AAA's Octagon Jr. in a last-minute addition to the card. Triple H buried the next four stars at WWE Money in the Bank.

#4. Octagón Jr. gets squashed by Dominik Mysterio

While Octagon Jr. competed at Worlds Collide earlier in the day, Dominik Mysterio challenged him to a match at Money in the Bank from the crowd, putting his WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line.

Dirty Dom was surprisingly absent from both PLEs, so it made sense to add his match to the main-roster PLE. The issue was that with Liv Morgan at ringside, Octagon clearly didn't stand a chance of winning.

He might have been grateful to compete at a main-roster WWE show, but losing to Dominik in about six minutes didn't make him look strong to casual fans.

#3. Roxanne Perez lost twice in two days

Roxanne Perez is a building block for the future of WWE's women's division. It's unfortunate that she's been booked to lose so much since joining the main roster.

Her losses could be seen as putting the veterans over. However, certain stars win immediately upon joining the main roster, like Tiffany Stratton and Bron Breakker. Perez lost to Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Kelani Jordan, and Jordynne Grace before officially joining the main roster.

The Prodigy set the record for the longest time spent in a women's Royal Rumble this year. However, she was quickly eliminated from the Elimination Chamber match and was thrown all around the ring during the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

She could have used the contract to announce her arrival, but she took most of the punishment in the dangerous spots during the match. Additionally, Perez also took the pin in the six-woman tag match on the go-home episode of SmackDown.

#2. Alexa Bliss keeps losing out to other stars

Alexa Bliss' return at Royal Rumble was a great moment. She had been absent for two years due to pregnancy. However, her run in the match was rather short, as stars with less credibility lasted longer than she did.

Charlotte Flair returned after a shorter break but received fireworks. Bliss did not. She qualified for the Elimination Chamber but was the second-to-last person eliminated.

Bliss qualified for Money in the Bank again but was likely in the match to help call the spots. She's a unique star who deserves better than what she has been given since her return.

#1. LA Knight falls short at Money in the Bank for the third-straight year

LA Knight was one of the favorites to win Money in the Bank. It was his third attempt in three years after falling short in the two previous ladder matches. Dropping the United States title could have been a sign of bigger things in his future.

It could also have been done without a clear plan for The Megastar going forward. Seth Rollins and his crew destroyed Knight, Penta, and Andrade on both SmackDown and at Money in the Bank.

Knight was also the last person to try to stop The Visionary before he grabbed the briefcase. He might win King of the Ring, but that's a long shot, depending on who Triple H wants in the title match at SummerSlam.
