4 stars who should not win WWE Queen of the Ring 2025

WWE General Managers Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce announced the return of both the Queen of the Ring and the King of the Ring Tournaments during SmackDown last week.

This is the third-ever QOTR. The one fans know best took place just last year. Meanwhile, the inaugural Queen's Crown Tournament has since been retconned and is now referred to as the Queen of the Ring Tournament. As a result, Zelina Vega is now called a former Queen of the Ring too.

There are numerous big and exciting names in the Queen of the Ring Tournament. The opening round match saw Roxanne Perez shockingly stand tall over Rhea Ripley, Kairi Sane, and Liv Morgan on RAW. This has led to speculation over who could go all the way.

With that being said, there isn't enough discussion on who shouldn't win the crown. This article will take a look at a few stars from RAW and SmackDown who shouldn't proceed to win the Queen of the Ring Tournament and earn a title shot at SummerSlam.

Below are four stars who should not win WWE Queen of the Ring 2025.

#4. Charlotte Flair needs to stay out of the World Title picture for a while

Charlotte Flair is the most decorated female athlete in WWE history. Flair is a two-time NXT Women's Champion and a former Women's Tag Team Champion. Most notably, Flair is a 14-time World Champion on RAW and SmackDown.

The Queen is currently in an interesting story with Alexa Bliss. Bliss has been pushing for the two to be friends, but Flair has refused and shows no interest in an alliance with the former WWE SmackDown Women's Champion.

Now, Flair has her eyes set on the Queen of the Ring Tournament. While it makes sense in theory, Flair calls herself The Queen after all, she is always in the World Title picture. Keeping her away from being in a World Title match for a while is ideal. It would just be boring if she's in another major title bout so soon after WrestleMania 41.

#3. Ivy Nile hasn't been built up enough to win the tournament

Ivy Nile is an underrated superstar. She started her WWE career in NXT and was a part of the Diamond Mine. She then joined World Wrestling Entertainment's main roster last year alongside The Creed Brothers.

Nile is part of American Made, a stable on WWE RAW. She is joined by her Diamond Mine stablemates Julius Creed and Brutus Creed. They are led by former United States Olympian Chad Gable. El Grande Americano's status in the group isn't quite clear yet, despite several appreciative comments being made about him.

While Ivy would be an exciting winner in the Queen of the Ring Tournament, she shouldn't be the person who claims the crown yet. While she is definitely talented enough to win, she hasn't been pushed enough in World Wrestling Entertainment. Until her stock rises, the tournament win should be off the table.

#2. Raquel Rodriguez has the WWE Women's Tag Team Title to worry about

Raquel Rodriguez is an absolute powerhouse. She is taller and stronger than just about any other woman in WWE. This size has led to a lot of success, as she's a record-breaking Women's Tag Team Champion and a former NXT Women's Champion.

Not only is Rodriguez a record-breaking tag champion, but she is also the current WWE Women's Tag Team Champion. She has held the gold five times, with four of those reigns being with Liv Morgan. The other one was with Aliyah.

Since Rodriguez is already a champion in World Wrestling Entertainment, she doesn't need to win the Queen of the Ring Tournament. Instead, the powerful Judgment Day member should focus on the Women's Tag Team Championship picture for the time being.

#1. Nia Jax shouldn't win the prestigious tournament two years in a row

Nia Jax is a completely different wrestler during this second run with WWE. Her earlier time with the company was mostly disappointing. However, since re-signing, she has put on stellar performances time and time again.

The powerful Jax is the only woman on this list who previously won a Queen of the Ring Tournament. She defeated Lyra Valkyria in the final of the 2024 edition of the tournament and went on to win the WWE Women's Title at SummerSlam later that year.

Jax winning could mean that she's a favorite to repeat this year. With that being said, Triple H and World Wrestling Entertainment should avoid making this move at all costs. She doesn't need to win it again, and a fresh winner would be far more interesting.
