On June 16, 2025, jurors were shown text exchanges between Sean "Diddy" Combs and his staff about buying drugs from a dealer named Guido in the rapper's sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy trial.

As reported by ABC News, these texts were presented during Ananya Sankar's testimony. Sankar is a summary witness used by the prosecution to provide summary charts and clarify points. Ananya is a paralegal specialist at the U.S. Attorney’s office.

The messages presented before the jury allegedly included conversations between Combs and his staff about the rapper allegedly buying drugs from a dealer called Guido.

As per the outlet, one such text from December 2021, between Diddy and his former chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, was shown to the court, where they discussed a package that Guido would drop off, which Kristina would take care of. In the conversation, Khorram also mentioned setting up a hotel room for Combs.

The outlet reported that in another message thread, one of Combs' head of security, Faheem Muhammad, was reportedly seen discussing the payment of thousands of dollars to Guido for drugs, for which he had received approval. The word "flower" was also used in the conversation, which, during the trial, was established to be code for marijuana.

Additionally, an alleged message thread between Khorram, Combs, and Muhammad was also shown to the court, where they discussed that Muhammad had to pick up molly pills before his flight to Miami, as per CNN. Combs mentioned that he had already informed Khorram, but she replied that she did not have the complete information. Combs then clarified in a message that it was about drugs.

The text allegedly read:

"Molly, 15 pills."

Juror dismissed in latest update from Diddy's trial

On Monday, June 16, in the Sean "Diddy" Combs sex trafficking trial, a juror was dismissed by Judge Arun Subramanian, the US district judge presiding over the case, as reported by USA Today.

Juror number 6, the one who was removed, was a 41-year-old Black man and was removed after giving inconsistent statements regarding where he was living. In a statement, Judge Subramanian expressed concerns that Juror 6 may have been trying to "shade" his answers in an attempt to remain a juror in the high-profile sex trafficking case, as reported by Variety.

As per the outlet, the now-removed juror had previously told a member of the jury department that he was living in New Jersey with his girlfriend. However, during jury selection, he had filled out the questionnaire, stating that he lived in the Bronx with his fiancée and daughter.

Additionally, in another interview that took place last week, the juror provided inconsistent answers when asked about his place of residence, claiming that he lived in New York for his job. In another interview, he said he lived in New York with his aunt, as reported by USA Today.

"The juror is unable to answer simple questions," Judge Subramanian reportedly said.

However, defending Juror 6, one of Diddy's attorneys, Xavier Donaldson, claimed that it was common for New Yorkers to move between New Jersey and the city. He stated that Juror No. 6 would be able to follow instructions, adding that the juror was "awake," as reported by Variety.

"I can’t say they all have been awake," Donaldson reportedly said.

He further argued that removing him would reduce the diversity of the jury, claiming that that part was "important" to him and his client.

Sean "Diddy" Combs has been held at Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, since his arrest on September 16, 2024.
