This year, Heineken 0.0 celebrated football fans and their fandom by hosting the Ultimate UEFA Champions League Final Fan Park in Mumbai on 31st May. The Fan Park truly elevated the match day experience of one of the most anticipated games of the season.
This high-energy event held at the JW Marriott in Juhu was a community match-viewing experience with fans from across Mumbai coming together to enjoy the excitement and thrill of the UEFA Champions League Final, making it an unforgettable experience.
The event was attended by prominent personalities like former captain of the India Football team Bhaichung Bhutia, Malayalam actor Arun Kurian and popular comedian and content creator Varun Thakur. The highlight for the fans was when they got to interact and engage with Bhaichung Bhutia in person. It was a dream come true moment for many.
Heineken also provided a platform for passionate fans to share their fan stories and why football is so special to them, it proved to be a heartwarming interactive session. We discovered real crazy stories - A fan who is using football to coach underprivileged girls, a fan who has gone the next level by building a football content platform “A Girl in Red” and another fan showing intense loyalty to his team with their tattoos all over his body!
In addition to fans coming together to watch the exciting final, the event also played host to many fan engagement activities - Football trivia, themed games and Football props. The football trivia especially received an overwhelming response from the fans, made more exciting with the Heineken branded football themed giveaways.
