“It’s best to ship him out” - Ben Foster calls out Manchester United star for his behaviour, tells Ruben Amorim to get rid of him

Ben Foster has urged Manchester United to sell Alejandro Garnacho. He believes that the Argentine is not hard-working and cares more about himself than the team.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Foster claimed that it was ideal for Ruben Amorim and Manchester United to sell Garnacho. He added that the Europa League final loss showed the youngster's character and said via Football365:

"I think for Man United it's best to ship [him] out. If I was the manager I'd be a little bit similar to Amorim in the case of I just want team players. I want a bunch of lads who are good, honest, hard working team players. And I don't get that vibe from Garnacho, I don't get that vibe from a few of the players."
"You look at the full-time whistle after the Europa League game. You look at Garnacho. Fresh trim a day ago, dyed blonde ready for the final. The full-time whistle goes, he's sat on the pitch sulking by himself, not trying to get behind the other lads, picking them up, saying 'well done we got this far'. And I think that there is the big contrast. I just want good lads, honest, hard working lads."

Garnacho also hit out at Ruben Amorim in an interview after the game for benching him in the Europa League final. His brother also echoed the same on social media, and the Manchester United manager reportedly asked him to find a new club right after the game in the dressing room.

Gary Neville wants Manchester United to sell Alejandro Garnacho

Gary Neville also spoke about Alejandro Garnacho earlier this week and claimed that it was not right of the Manchester United star to talk against the manager in the media. He believes the bridge has been burnt, and all parties should cut ties this summer. He said on 'It's Called Soccer' podcast via Football365:

"I think if players are taking on the manager and if players are questioning the manager in public through social media or through other means, the manager has to win. If the manager doesn't win, the manager has to leave and I don't think that's going to happen this time. That's happened far too many times before. I think Garnacho will leave purely because of that, I think they've had enough."

Garnacho has been linked with Chelsea and Napoli since the January window. Atletico Madrid are the latest to have shown interest in signing the Argentine star.
