High-flying Honduras host Antigua at the Estadio Nacional Chelato Ucles on Tuesday for a clash in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Ranked 75th in the world, La Bicolor are already through to the next round after winning all three of their qualifying matches in the round, including a narrow 1-0 victory over the Cayman Islands this week.

Wesley Robinson struck an own goal in the 86th minute as Honduras snatched a win from the jaws of a stalemate.

With nine points in the bag from a possible nine, they are at the top of Group A and cannot mathematically drop outside of the top two ahead of the final fixture of the round.

Honduras will be aiming to finish with four wins from four, as they have the momentum: Reinaldo Rueda's side have won their last three games, having also beaten Bermuda home and away in the 2025 Gold Cup qualifiers in March.

By contrast, Antigua and Barbuda have failed to win any of their three qualifying games of the campaign so far, drawing once and losing twice, including a 1-0 loss to Cuba earlier this week.

Pedro Bravo netted the only goal of the game in the added minutes of the opening stanza, which proved to be enough for them to get all three points from the match.

Ranked 159th in the world, the Benna Boys will have to wait for another four years for a shot at their World Cup debut.
