France U21 will face Poland U21 at the Stadion pod Dubnom on Tuesday in the final group-stage game of their 2025 U21 European Championship campaign. Les Bleuets have not had the most convincing start to their continental campaign but remain second in Group C with four points and will advance to the knockout stages with a win this week while a draw could also suffice.
They picked up a narrow 3-2 victory over Georgia U21 in their last match, taking the lead in the first half via a Mathys Tel spot-kick and were in control for much of the game before finding themselves 2-1 down five minutes from normal time. Late strikes from Johann Lepenant and Villarreal's Thierno Barry, however, saw France come back to reclaim their lead.
Poland U21, meanwhile, have had an European Championship to forget as they have now been eliminated from the tournament. They were thrashed 5-0 by Portugal U21 last time out, shipping four of those goals in the first half as they registered their heaviest defeat since 2019.
Biało-czerwoni sit rock-bottom in their group with zero points. They have nothing left to play for on Tuesday but remain keen to get some points on the board.
Les Bleuets have won four of their last five matches after winning just two of their previous eight. They are overwhelming favorites ahead of Tuesday's game but must be wary of complacency.
Poland are on a run of back-to-back defeats and have won just one of their last six games. They have failed to impress defensively on the continental stage this year and could lose here as well.
Prediction: France U21 3-1 Poland U21
Tip 1 - Result: France U21 to win
Tip 2 - Goals - Over/under 2.5 - Over 2.5 goals (Each of Poland's last nine matches have all produced more than 2.5 goals)
Tip 3 - Both teams to score: YES (Both sides have found the back of the net in six of Le Bleuets' last eight matches)
